We strive to have our home clean and welcoming for each guest - I have no doubt our home will have the perfect touch to make your stay a memorable one with memories that will last forever. We have a full stocked kitchen in case you decide to cook your favorite dish as well as all the essentials like – Coffee, Tea, Oil, Salt and pepper. We have a toddler booster as well as some toys and books for your little ones. Our front deck area is the perfect place to sit to watch the sunrise while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. Or in the peaceful cool of the evening as the sun sets. In the spring you might get see the Amish neighbors preparing their farmland to plant crops, and in the fall there’s a chance you’ll see them harvest their crops. **DISCOUNT for 28+ nights, the longer you stay the higher the discount. Just a few thing a for you to remember upon arrival. Feel free to explore the outdoor area & walk the lane, but please be respectful as the owners do live on the property and still want their privacy. Please stay on your side of the walk way/grass area to give the owners their space. They love to meet you and are super friendly. They just don't want children & guests running/walking all over their side of the grassy area. Please DO NOT go into any of the buildings unless given permission to by the owner. The school house if off limits to guest all year around. And if you happen to be visiting during school season please do not go inside the fenced in school area, for the safety of the children.

House Rules

Hi! We can’t wait to be your hosts and hope you enjoy our property as much as we do. However, we do have to enforce some rules for the safety of our property. We love our neighbors and want to respect them, so we ask you to be respectful to our rules. 1. All Lancaster County Residents must communicate with the host BEFORE booking. 2. The occupancy limit for this property is the same number of guest as your reservation at all times. Violation of this could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund. 3. No partied, no loud music, no boisterous behavior. 4. Renters will respect and follow all rules as outlined in the House Rules section. 5. Renters agree to not contact the host until they have read the Welcome Book. (Book can be found after arrival) 6. Smoking is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate $200/day penalty fee. ($200 for everyday of the rental period) 7. Unless previously agreed upon with host, there is a $50 late checkout fee for the first hour and a rate of $100/hr for each hour thereafter. 8. No pets allowed. $200 fine if rule is broken. 9. If by your fault of breaking any house rules causes a scheduling conflict with other guests. You may be charged the amount owing to discount or refund, said guest. 10. Repeated infractions of the house rules can result in dispatching of our security team for immediate eviction with no refund. This will result in a $500 penalty additional to any applicable fees. 11. Booking your reservation is your confirmation that you have read and fully agree to the house rules.

The best part of this apt is that it's a small apt attached to an Amish farm house. There’s a long lane that takes you back to the peace and quiet where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful farmlands that surround this property. This Apt may or may not be the only Airbnb where you get to experience staying at an Amish Farm AND an Amish School house. :-) YES! There is an Amish school half way in this driveway. And only a few minutes driving distance to all your favorite tourist Hotspots. If you come during the school season you will see Amish children playing, we ask that you do not interrupt their activities or walk on school property during school hrs. In fact we ask that you stay off the school property at all times since this is not the owners property. Please respect their privacy. You may also see the family that lives on the farm, while they work outside and going about their daily chores. However, we also ask that you respect their privacy as well. Please stay on your side of the walks, deck and back yard. The owners are super friendly and love to meet the guests, but they also like to have privacy on their side of the walks/property. We are only 7 minutes from the town of Intercourse where you will find so many exciting things to do, and will have no problem spending all day walking around and visiting all the unique stores Intercourse has to offer. Like Kitchen Kettle Village, Smucker Village & Coffee shop, Stoltzfus Meats, Horse & Buggy tours, and so many more. We are also only 15-20 minutes from Dutch Wonderland, the shopping outlets and pretty much any restaurant you may be craving along Route 30. Gorgeous, peaceful location. Very remote. If you are looking for a lot of conveniences go elsewhere. But for us it was perfect and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Oh! My! Goodness! What a beautiful place to stay! Peace and quiet made for a restful and relaxing stay as we celebrated 34 years of marriage. We enjoyed time on the back deck with a mug of coffee while watching cows, horses and hay being chopped and baled. My wife especially enjoyed making friends with the bluebird family by the deck. We cannot say enough about the beautiful property, the welcoming homeowners, and Kathryn’s communication and attention to details. We HIGHLY recommend this place for one and all!!

This place is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the farm. We enjoyed sitting on the patio while drinking coffee. Host was easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay there again.

The place was situated amidst beautiful Amish farm country, with views of the fields and animals from the private back porch. It was clean, spacious, and decently well stocked with the essentials such as cookware and coffee. The neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. I’d recommend this place and stay there again!

My daughter and I had a great stay. The accommodations were incredibly clean and matched the description. Check in was very clear and easy. Kathryn was very responsive to any communications and questions. The location was a short drive to nearby restaurants. The farm was beautiful and peaceful.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Amish farm. The apartment is absolutely charming—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, which made it the perfect place to truly rest and recharge. One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the patio, watching the animals and taking in the calm of the land. In the mornings, we loved listening to the birds, and hearing the sweet sound of children laughing from the one-room Amish schoolhouse down the lane—it was such a special and peaceful experience. The owner, Aaron, was so kind and welcoming, and you can truly feel the care they put into hosting. Kathryn, who manages the Airbnb, was amazing—quick to respond, friendly, and very accommodating with anything we needed. If you’re looking for a serene, comfortable getaway with genuinely kind hosts, this is a beautiful place to stay. We would absolutely come back!

Peaceful, quiet, relaxing all with beautiful views out every window! Kathryn's place offers all of this and more! Spacious & comfortable both inside and out. The porch is the perfect place to spend time when not visiting local attractions. So many of our favorite shops and restaurants were all in close proximity. Definitely a 5 star location and experience.
